The president of AAABG, Dr Johan Greeff, and the AAABG Committee are pleased to announce the Association"s 19th conference and invite members, together with all those interested in animal breeding, to contribute papers, attend the conference and participate in discussions.
Conference Handbook & Program (new notice)

Airport-Conference Venue Shuttle Service
The one way trip is 40 minutes maximum (time will depend on traffic conditions). Price is AU$14 for a single journey and AU$25 for a return journey. Pre-booked group bookings will also be offered a discount on these prices. A one way taxi fare is approximately $50.
Please book your transport by Monday 13 July to avoid disappointment.
The conference will be held at the University of Western Australia from 19-21 July 2011. Check-in registration will open at 7am on 19 July at the University Club of Western Australia. A Google map showing the location of the conference venue can be accessed from the "Location" item in the top navigation bar.

19th Conference Proceedings
The full proceedings of the Perth Conference are now available for general distribution. The package includes the scientific papers, presentation slides, and Association pages. In the top navigation bar, click "19th Conference Proceedings".
Proceedings of Past Conferences
All AAABG Conference Proceedings vol. 1 (1979) to vol. 18 (2009) are available on-line through "Livestock Library". The papers are in PDF format and are indexed for searching together with other journals and conference proceedings that are part of the Livestock Library.

30th Anniversary Conference
The 30th Anniversary Conference was held in September 2009 in the Barossa Vally, South Australia. It comprised an Applied Genomics workshop, the 18th Conference of AAABG and a special Industry Day.
